Dear colleagues,

I am glad to inform you that on March 7-13, 2000 Jewish Pedagogical Club "The New Jewish school" holds a seminar for teachers of Jewish Sunday school on the topic of "The Torah, humanities, upbringing and tradition".

The seminar is organized for teachers from Siberia and Volga region, but we invite everybody interested to participate in the seminar.

The schedule of the seminar is as follows:

  • Tue, 7.03 - The holiday of Purim: different approaches to teaching;

  • Wed, 8.03 – The Oral Torah: texts, methods of teaching, historical

  • Thu, 9.03 – Methods of teaching tradition: tradition at the lessons of arts, literature and tradition;

  • Fri,10.03 – Perspectives of development of Jewish Sunday school;

  • Sun, 12.03 – Innovative methods in Jewish education;

  • Mon, 13.03 – Jewish education in the CIS: present and future (exchange of experience).

The classes will be held in Jewish gymnasium "Migdal Ohr" at Fontanka, 112.
