Purpose:

  The purpose of the project is to study the history and culture of Jewish communities in the countries of UIS and Baltic countries.

Summary:

  This mini-project aims to organize the studying of history and culture of Jewish Communities.

  Active work will be orginized in the structure Internet/ORTnet with the possibility of creating corresponding WWW-lines for the participants of the project using computer server "ORT-St.Petersburg".".

    The main stages of the project's realization:

  1. Technical equipment of schools
  2. Registration of the participants
  3. Collecting of photos, introductions (5-6 lines) for creating home pages for the participants on the server
  4. Creating of home pages for the participants of the project
  5. Collecting of materials (articles, photos) on the topic "Outstanding People"
  6. Creating of the page "Outstanding People" on the server
  7. Collecting of materials (articles, photos) on the topic "War and Catastrophe"
  8. Creating of the page "War and Catastrophe" on the server
  9. Collecting of materials (articles, photos) on the topic "ORT in our city, republic"
  10. Creating of the page "ORT in our city, republic" on the server
  11. Renewal of old pages, creating of new pages
