Two modern computer classes, resource laboratory and server room were equipped, brought net and video equipment within the project “Regeneration”.
Mrs. Aline Berlin, grand daughter of one of the ORT founder baron de Gunzburg, was one of the project donator.
From ORT Robert Singer, World ORT Director General, Avi Ganon, World ORT Representative in Russia, Byelorussia and Middle Asia, Marina Sorokina, ORT-St.Petersburg Centre Director, Gregory Vodopyan, ORT-St.Petersburg Centre Deputy Director, took part in the ceremony of opening.
From Kirovsky district of Saint Petersburg authority Andrey Filatov, Head of Kirovsky District of Saint Petersburg, and Zanna Borobyova, Head of Education Department of Kirovsky District, participated in the ceremony.
Boleslav Yatvetsky, First Secretary of Israel State Embassy, Ludmila Yatvetsky, Israel Cultural Centre Director, Ani Perelman, Head of Regional Department of Jewish Agency, Eugenia Lvova, Head of Regional Department of Russian Jewish Congress and Family Club “Adain Lo” Director, were invited to the ceremony.
Guests visited the Centre computer classes where School students showed their projects created using new equipment.
Robert Singer thanked Mr. Filatov, Head of Kirovsky district, and Mrs. Zanna Kuzmina, School # 274 Principal, for effective cooperation with ORT, presented with memorial gifts from World ORT, and wished to school students great success in acquirement of new information technologies.
