In February, 28, 2008 first graduates of project “ORT-Career” have got certificates on computer literacy course.
During 3,5 months students studied main principals of work on computer, Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel).
Lessons were carried out in ORT computer Centre of the School “Menahem” within joint project with Jewish Community Centre “Maor”.
Lessons on work and seeking information in Internet were of great interest among students.

Two groups have started to work within the project “ORT-Career” and new candidates of future group are chosen.

In February, 26, 2008 within the project “ORT-Career” new joint program of ORT-Saint Petersburg and Young Jewish organization “Hillel” “School of Career” was launched.
The preliminary seminar was carried out.
On the seminar ORT specialists questionnaired 20 students of different city universities who wanted to study in the program.
Within the program “School of Career” students will have a possibility to become proficient in self presentation, declamatory science, to study rules of CV writing.
Lessons with specialists and representatives of recruit agencies, communication with future colleagues will help to improve business skills.
Study in the high tech ORT computer laboratories will allow to get knowledge not only on information technologies, but students will create own multimedia resources, take part in international video conferences, study foreign languages.

In the beginning of April, 2008 first study lessons within the program “ORT Career” will start in the new ORT Vocational Training Centre in the Saint Petersburg Jewish Community House.
